16th December |
| A Christmas
paddle first
to create a hunger starting at 10.30am with a trip to
Double locks. Then to the Imperial China, Cowick
St at 12.30pm. There is a buffet meal which will cost
£8.90 per person plus drinks.

| The
Malthouse,Globe
Hotel, Topsham at 7.30pm for a skittles evening with
a Secret Santa,
games and food (much like last year). See photos. |

27th
October |
| End of season party to be held at Sue's house at
7.30pm with a Mexican theme. Sue will create a
list of food so people can chose what they would like
to bring with them, please contact Sue if you and a friend
would like to come. Sue also has a hot tub,
and is encouraging
everyone to to bring their bathers!

August |
| I have been
informed that we have not had a social in ages and so
on the evening of Saturday 4th August at 8pm we will gather
at ASK on the Cathedral Green in Exeter for dinner. |

12th May |
In order to celebrate
Dave's 30th birthday, he
will be having a party at the
Bridge
Inn, Topsham to which all of ExeCalibre and friends/partners
are (of course) invited.
Things will
get started from 7 o'clock and there will be
a bit of a
buffet. This
is the evening before the BDA league event in Bristol,
so
Dave is hoping
that Steve will turn up to enforce a strict drink and
bedtime limit on anyone in the race crew!

Italian Social Night to get us in the mood for the
Vogalonga.
The plan is to meet
at Claire's
house from
7pm onwards. The party is open to everyone from
ExeCalibre and partners - you don't have to be going to
Venice!! Please could everyone bring a plate of Italian
food and a bottle of something Italian. See

22nd
April |
Paddle
down to Turf
Locks on Sunday 22nd April. This will be a particularly
good paddle for those going to Venice for the Vogalonga
though this paddle is slightly shorter as in
total it will only be 16km
return.
However so we do not tire too early
we will stop at Turf for lunch, they offer both a
BBQ and a lunch time menu, so there will be plenty
of choice. We
will be meeting down at the quay side ready
to load the boat at 10.30am.

Lunch
at Oddfellows, following Sunday morning training. The
booking is for midday, if you would like to come please
contact Ed so that the booking can be updated. Oddfellows
has live music starting at 2pm and a pub quiz at 4pm.
Remember to bring a change of clothing if you are paddling
first! |
