About Exe-Calibre

Exe-Calibre Dragon Boat Club is a water sports club based in Exeter, Devon.

Exe-Calibre is one of the most diverse sports clubs in Exeter, if not the whole of the South West.  The club welcomes and encourages male and female paddlers of all ages, sizes and backgrounds. We train three times per week on the River Exe and Exeter Ship Canal and take part in competitive events across the UK.

In 2010 Exe-Calibre were the winners of the British Dragonboat Association's Standard League, earning promotion in 2011 to the top flight of UK Dragon Boating. Despite this, the club remains firmly committed to its principles of inclusivity and sociability alongside structured intensive training sessions.

Our members have come to the club for many different reasons; some want to lose weight, others want to meet new friends, some want an alternative to the gym and most of us love being outdoors all year round.
